Why with the Kpop?

Who knows. Since arriving in Seoul, Kpop has since infected me like the best What is Kpop? Why it’s Korean Pop music you silly! Why with the Kpop? Who knows. Since arriving in Seoul, Kpop has since infected me like the best kind of STD. (It makes my whoo whoo tingle while also making me infertile.) For some reason I’m embarrassingly obsessed with it. Not for all it’s nonsensical audio, fashion and display of abs, but for it’s honest to goodness bizzare portrail of Korean culture.

No, normal men in this country don’t wear make up 24/7, dressed like a bondage/furniture shop and dancing like there’s no tomorrow. BUT the interesting thing is that everyone in this country seems to think that that is cool and it’s something worth aspiring to be like.

So putting my film study skills to use for the first time since college, it’s my guilty pleasure in dissecting K-pop music videos and trying to deduce what the band’s idea of cool is. So if you like cringy cringy gayness and with healthy doses of “what the fudge did they just say?!”, then you’ll probably lurve K-pop!kind of STD. (It makes my whoo whoo tingle while also making me infertile.) For some reason I’m embarrassingly obsessed with it.
